I'm going to see my niece!

I'm leaving to go to New Hampshire in just a little over 2 days, just me and Peter. At least, that's what I've been told, I haven't received the itinerary yet. We're being flown up to help welcome Abigail Parks, my new niece. The older 3 kids will mostly stay with Patrick and stay a little with my parents. I need to:

*get Patrick to sign forms will do soon
*write the checks, and mail the forms to register my kids for homeschooling (thanks mom) (we are doing it through a church related school this year, instead of through the school system)
*turn in attendance records for last year to the school system

*weigh and calculate the cost of my friend Pamela's cheese.
*Get her cheese to her
*get the checks from everyone
all in the bank except Pamela's
*write the check to the dairy and mail it when I get back in town

*arrange to get my utility bill paid
*pay my mortgage- still haven't done it
both in the mail!

*eat, cook, freeze or give away items in the fridge that will spoil before my return
* make sure there are no dirty dishes
* ditto, dirty diapers or wet towels in the hampers

*write a thank you note to my neighbor for the delicious fresh figs, and take his boxes back over to him (oops! Got the money and boxes together, did not write the note, forgot to drop them off. In the trunk of the car, awaiting my return.)

*clean out the hallway of boxes, as James has company in from out of town this weekend and I promised they would be gone (This got partially done.)

*pump some breastmilk for Abinadi to have on hand
*borrow a bottle from my sister Miranda
*continue to reassure Abinadi that I don't want him to wean until he's ready and that I'll be coming back soon just like Grandma is coming back soon
*stop worrying about how Abinadi will do, he is over 3 years old, he has stayed overnight with Grandma and daddy before, and he will be OK

*get my childbirth group library over to Pamela
*arrange for a substitute leader in case Pamela is still sick (Krista said she would do it)
*organize some materials in the binder for this upcoming meeting (Pamela is sick)
*call back the organizations I called and left messages for last week, and leave Pamela's name and number as a contact since I will be gone all week. (we are trying to change our meeting space.)

*Obtain info on a particular 12-step meeting for someone with no phone
*Get info to the person who requested it will do soon

*Attend choir practice at 11 am
*Attend church at 12 pm
NOT
*Attend Edie and Chris Love-Cloys renewal of vows ceremony on their 11th anniversary at 1pm (some compromise will have to happen here to make both events) made it to the park

*Fill out reference forms for LDS Family Services- for friends who are trying to adopt soon (partially finished, will mail from NH)
*mail forms in fresh envelope as I spilled something on theirs

*get itinerary MOM has it
*call Livy to confirm details, diaper and car seat arrangements, etc.
*get camera and all it's parts together
*pack for trip
*pack for plane
*fill up the car with gas
*delete my cookies to email, etc. on this computer
*give Patrick instructions on Abinadi's therapy, emergency phone numbers, emergency medical contacts for the kids, where I'll be, etc. etc.

*give James contact info for me, my parents, and Patrick, and let him know when I'll be back, ask him to get mail and packages, etc.
*pray and see if there is anything important I've forgotten to do and can take care of before I leave

*have Patrick take me and the kids out to my parents on Monday
*hold Family Home Evening (Ha!)
*get to bed early and set an alarm (Ha!)
*nurse Abinadi before I leave for the airport
*arrive at the airport at least an hour and a half before my flight leaves

While I'm there, besides all that I need and want to do that is family and child related, which is 98% of my time- so in the remaining 2% I'd like to:

*continue to read the Book of Mormon daily so as to complete the challenge recently given by the church to read it before the end of the year
*read up on my take birth back stuff and memorize some info for the upcoming Labor day weekend
*keep up with my email particularly TBB stuff
*have the entire bag portion of the bag I'm working on crocheted, and be ready to start on the handle
*meet up with [info]jpallen whoops! [info]jpallan
*have inner peace

Wow, well done! It seems like you even did at least one of the things that aren't crossed off: you arrived with luggage.
